I took pistol 1 from Rick when he was employed by CCA.
Really enjoyed it. As with any class, going to be a function of the skill-level of the class members. I had a total newbie, but there were only the two of us in the class, so he could manage us independently. ETA: No experience w/SSV, but their 'upcoming classes' lists October (going to assume 2017). Hopefully not a bad sign. |

My wife got a lot out of a women's only class Rick taught and highly recommends it.

I have taken a night fighting pistol class and a defensive shotgun class with Rick at SSV.
I highly recommend Rick as a trainer and his classes are worth the time and money. |

Update: I heard from SSv on Facebook. They should have their 2018 class schedule on the website in the next few weeks
