If I had to guess -
Some kind of crappy AWB A ban on campus carry A ban on open carry Emergency mental health firearm confiscations Less likely, but possible if there's another bad shooting - 10 round mag limits CA style registration CA style waiting periods and purchase limits Safe storage requirements |

It will be interesting to see what happens if they pass any of this. On the western slope there is still zero enforcement of the magazine ban and the background checks. If the Sheriffs won't enforce the current laws, where does the state go next.

Call your reps....I called mine and he actually called me back.
So I have some info from someone who is actually a legislator. The general feeling is they may push for Red Flag again. Bans? Possible but according to Mr Corum highly unlikely and according to what he said will get a lot and I mean a lot of push back. He said they still remember the recalls quite vividly. Someone he speaks to on the other side is a marine vet who just was elected to the Pueblo seat.....They remember 2013 trust me. He did say some sort of gun control is likely but a ban? Odds are against it. Red flag though in some way, shape or form? Count on it. |
