Well, it's hit here in Southern New Jersey, I shop every Sunday at Shoprite around 0630-0700 in Glassboro, the panickers were in force today.

whats been hit hard or completely gone:

Paper ( I just don't get it, all gone, are people eating this stuff ? )
Milk
Rice
Waffles
Soups
Crackers, including Ritz
Frozen Pasta
Meats, Purdue Chicken was wiped out.
Bread
Frozen Vegetables
Disinfectants
Juices
Dry Soup Mixes
Frozen Pizzas

I was able to find almost all what I buy weekly, even doubled up on a few things, the dry boxed foods, canned and frozen stuff. I was already stocked up in the pantry, plus a good pile of 25 year emergency food.

How's everybody else in their towns ?

Chalk one up for the Hysteria News Channels

Union County is in full panic buying mode.  I'll be in Hunterdon Country this afternoon and I'll see how things are going there.  One of the guys I work with had excellent luck stocking up on some supplies at 7-Eleven.

Fascinating times we're living in.

CO is crazy. All fresh foods are sold out. Don't bother looking for paper products. As of Saturday there was still plenty of frozen food. Background checks are taking up to 16 hours and there is a hard run on ammo.

USPSA and Church were cancelled.

Good to hear from you Bobby!

The Mrs. went out early this morning, 75 people ON LINE waiting to get into WF. Yesterday at ShopRite no problems.

Some peeples were hordering and from their size maybe this was their REGULAR shopping habits.

God bless our Truckers for keeping the area supplied. This might be a day-to-day basis, fuknose....

BTH - has GOLD* to barter.

State and Local Governments shutting down the free market in many states, but is the government shutting itself down anywhere out that way ?

I am finding the same thing here in Marmora.  Perishable foods going fast while the long term canned items still on the shelf.  Couldn't find a scrape of poultry anywhere.  Plenty of eggs but a notice that the price was going to increase due to demand.  A lot of signs rationing you to 1 or 2 items per person if available.

I just went in to look around to see what the shortages were.  Didn't really need anything.

Well, this was BJ's in Flemington at 9 last night, I doubt it looks better now.  I noticed on Monday that the newest milk they had was 03.19 which was the same as last Wednesday so I kinda figured supply had already started slowing down.  TP has been out for a week.  Still have pallets of Perrier and Smartwater for you guys though.

I shop at the Glassboro Store too. The chicken was gone by Thursday. Last of the hamburger by Friday from what I was told. I was also told the Mullica Hill Shoprite was rationing cat food. Now that's hardcore survival food lol.

For over 30 years we have been going to Jo-Jo’s at Five Points in Hamilton. Just got a text message from Nancy that they will be closed, indefinitely! I will miss my weekly pizza fix.

This is getting stupid. All because of some Commie red country that wants to dominate the world.

I will leave it there, do not want the ban hammer.

Store is about half way back to normal.  No TP and limits on paper towels, water, OTC medications and cleaning supplies but at least they had milk again.

I don't think you can get banned because of cow-plopping on the Commies, just can't use a derogatory descriptive feature that would define one of the multiple cultures that share make up the entire ethnicity inclusive of the subset *Commie*.

My Cousin lives on LI, he has this HATED scumbag Gunshop near him. He unhappily went to pick up some ammo and found a line 145 people long! How did he know 145? Because his ticket said 146!

Anti-gunners were asking shit like, I've never done this before, I need something for the family and home protection. The FFL was stocking them with 12 or 20 Ga shotgun, pump or semi, plastic ammo to practice reloading and most were purchasing a case of ammo PLUS....

Everyone has been busy attempting to purchase a handgun or ammo. I have read that the "lefties" bought the narrative of how easy it is to buy a weapon.

SURPRISE. Welcome to the real world, bunch of gullible fools who all of a sudden realize that they have been told a bunch of lies! There is a process in place (NICS) which works better than they have been told.  Get in line and simply wait for the government to say its OK or "denied".

Went to Wegmans for Haagen Dazs ice cream this week. Nothing! The usual price is $3.99. The ice cream freezer was slim pickings. McCaffrey’s had plenty but the price was $5.99. Not on you life am I paying that. The Mrs said we can try Shop Wrong. There was so much coffee ice cream I almost had a heart attack. Two pints later @ 2 for $5.00.

I am trying to be good and not eat a pint in one serving.

I was thrown offguard by Maxwell's post about going out for ice cream at a time like this,  I guess ice cream is a go to food  in a SHTF scenario for some

Both Acme markets here in Morris Plains area remained cleaned-out of paper products as of Sunday, hamburger meat was gone.  Haven't been out since then as working from home is even busier than in the office lately.  It's been a few years since I checked in here, great seeing some familiar "faces" still around and BobbyTheHun still in the beekeeping trade!
