We're talking 2017-2018 (maybe) and earlier, but I have gotten some hellacious deals at that show in years past.
Picked up a LNIB (couldn't even tell it had been more than test fired) Spike's 11.5" upper there once that retailed for $900 - I paid $500. Bulk ammo, to the point I was glad I had friends and we had backpacks on. Surefire lights, misc parts, mags, etc. Obviously the current gun market won't allow for much, if any of those same things to happen, but Orlando was always a good show to me ![]() |

I bought a wallet and a hat.
and then had Scott from Risen Son Creations make me two kydex holsters for some oddball pistols while I waited. I handed him my Beretta 81 and a CZ83 and he went to work. I left satisfied. Kydex carry holsters fit directly to me and my pistols. |

I used to buy a stack of those square cloths for cleaning from the lady in the front corner.
Had a HUGE stash. Its been so long since I have been to a show that I am almost out. May have to go just to pick up some more, but probably the Nov or Jan show instead to give some time for firearms to come back in stock. Looking for a Walther PPQ M2 in 5 inch. If you see one let me know the price. ![]() |

Plenty of ammo, but obviously no deals. Very surprised not to see any 80% items unless overlooked. Would have expected to see at least one vendor selling them. Really wanted some cleaning patches but the usual people were sold out. Small pistol primers were about $137/1000. Prices for firearms not overly insane. With everything going on, I would say the prices were not bad. With that said, it did seem like every vendor was selling the same handguns. Close your eyes, walk to any table, open your eyes and you would think you were at the same table. ![]() ETA : There was only 1 PTR HK SP5 for at the show for $1,600. It was very tempting. ETA - part 2: There was one dealer with lots of ARs and uppers for very good prices, but I didn't recognize neither the name/brand of the company nor the receiver. |

I have purchased a few items from SS at this show over the years and have always been able to haggle for a decent price. The Lakeland gun show is today as well..... It won't be 50% Shoot Straight tables, and FTF sales are allowed (unlike Orlando)
Just thought I'd mention it |

Is it as large of a show as years prior (2 huge rooms) or have they scaled back? I would be interested in reviews of this show if anyone goes. Also, I vaguely recall their used to be 2 types of shows and one was larger than the other. Is that still true? |

Back from the Orlando show.
The smaller building was a bit sparse. Wouldn't be surprised if the next show is back to a single building. Went to purchase a few items that I saw from the previous show but those items were not there. Apparently they are not as common as I hoped. Got a few items to research and will probably check out the next show. |
