Have any FFLs around Iowa gotten their hands on the new Sig P365 yet? If not when are you estimating they will be coming?

P365 are like Unobtainium around here. I was listening to gun talk radio podcast and they were interviewing a guy from Sig. Seems they underestimated the demand and are back ordered over ten thousand units.

Sig will eventually catch up but till then, we can all dream about the P365.

Damn. I'd like to get my hands on one before I make a decision whether or not to get one. On the other hand I'm hesitant because of the reports of problems people have had with it.

I would for sure get your hands on one first.

From what I’ve been hearing and seeing fit and finish has sucked and have heard of quite a few problems. It sounds like Sig quality isn’t as good now a days on some of their products.

Quality issues are typical of any manufacturer trying to meet demand. Corners are always cut to increase product out the door. Let them catch up, which may be a while, then get one. Quality will be better the longer one waits.

My FFL has one instock (atleast as of last weekend). I was able to get my hands on it and dry fire it. Feels really good. It was really tempting to buy.

Is the trigger anything like the P320?

I'm crossing my fingers and toes in hopes of seeing one at the show this weekend. I'm not counting on it though.

One. I'm going to take a road trip and go to the DM show on the 16th. Hopefully there will be one there but with my luck I highly doubt it.

What are the chances of a dealer having a P365 there and willing to trade for a Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Compact .45?

I believe JT Guns in DSM just posted having one in stock, today.
