I stand corrected, Air 1 was indeed over downtown Dallas in 2 short flights this afternoon.
No idea why DPS is in Amarillo or elsewhere. They have multiple birds, I only had tracks on a few that worked in Dallas when it started. Thus far quiet - a few DPD cars outside the Grey Hound station but that is a normal sighting every 2-4 hours.

Went down to Dillon Equipment this morning behind big Baylor. The guy working there didn’t seem concerned. He said all the bad stuff happened a couple blocks over.
Is there a division there? Or do the Baylor police put up a show or what? I saw a few things boarded up on the way in, but I didn’t stick around. |

DPS over Dallas, lower Greenville now
Protect the Results original activation was for 5PM today, but locations TBD. I wouldn't expect Plano unless there is something in every large city. |

Since I don't see the DPD helo up, it doesn't seem too froggy. |

Despite the rise, Dallas is not doing that badly in murders compared to many cities. I am looking for a rate chart. Check out St. Louis, they are nearly 100 per 100k!
