Sorry - I replied to the "canceled" thread thinking people would actually read past the headline

So we're on - see previous threads for the meetup point. We'll do some extra stuff either at the beginning or the end, and I'll bring a laptop with Chirp and TYTs and cables to set up people we know with either the APC or the Jan 6 configs I am aware of.

Depending on who shows up it'll be 6 miles, an equipment check-out/setup, or something else.

I’ve got 2 basic UV5Rs configured with a chirp file I got from LT_Beaker a while back (APC frequencies).

Wouldn’t mind hiking &/or learning casevac comms — sounds useful.

If you're doing APC stuff, keep those.

If you're going tomorrow and want BF's loaded with a bunch of FRS/GMRS frequencies if you need those, I'll do that. If you're a ham and know how to use the repeaters arfarf listed in the GD thread, I'll load those too.

Yup, I’m already good-to-go for APC stuff and will leave it as-is, thanks.

Great hike - all miles were sub-16:30, with the fastest 16:02, and I didn't die, with slightly higher gear weight than prior hike. I suppose I have until tomorrow to figure out what went right.
