A whistleblower has revealed some rules have been broken regarding voting for a school bond. In short, the superintendent’s emails, and principals’ newsletters compelled teachers to vote for the nearly 1 billion dollar bond. In fact, principals used school funds to pay for subs so staff could go vote during the day. And even better, teachers at one high school registered students tk vote and provided shuttle service for students and staff to go vote during the school day.
Gregg Abbott has the TEA on it and an investigation is underway. I hope they nail the superintendent. He’s a liberal shitbag. It’s hard being a conservative and an educator….
We just defeated a school bond here. It was almost 100 million for a small town of 6000 people.
