Does anyone know of a reputable refinisher in North AL? I got a friend that lives around Double Springs that's looking to get a Ruger 44 carbine redone.

Try Patterson's Gunsmith, Taft, TN.  He's located about 2 miles north of the border and 3 miles east of downtown Taft near the intersection of Ardmore Highway and Scott's Orchard road.

And I wanna see pics of the Ruger .44 Mag carbine!

Either Shotglass Guns in Florence or Bad Wolf Gunworks in Sheffield are the 2 that come to mind. Although, I don't remember if Bad Wolf does bluing but they're worth checking out!
