I don't see mag ban or ebr ban, are they going to use a shell bill like normal or just waiting for D's to do their dirty work at the federal level?

I dont recall an ILGA session where multiple shell bills have not been used to get things attempted. With shorter, fewer sessions, and the current firearms mass buying they may not have the time to get everything done they typically want. |

The court couldn't even be bothered to hear FOID case until now. With virtual sessions and keeping people from real socialization, they have plenty of time. They have suppressed our rights successfully in every other aspect of our lives. What makes you think this is unachievable?

If it's not returned? It's automatically denied, because who has time as a LE person to actually investigate anything. |

I know Springfield won't bite because they hate people that carry MORE than they love expensive carry licenses, but this is the one time since I moved out that I will gladly give the date of Illinois my money. House Committee Amendment 1 was filed on HB2377 Foid & Con Carry - Renewal & Revoc today

Reinserts the provisions of the bill. Deletes provision that if the only reason for the revocation of a person's concealed carry license is the expiration of the licensee's Firearm Owner's Identification Card, the person does not have to submit a form to the Illinois State Police to conduct an investigation of the person's suitability for the issuance of a concealed carry license. |

Synopsis As Introduced Amends the General Assembly Organization Act. Provides requirements for members of the General Assembly to be conservators of the peace. Provides for the powers of members of the General Assembly as conservators of the peace. Amends the Illinois Police Training Act to make a conforming change. |
