Not gonna bore you with details, but tldr shit's bad and rent is just killing me. I can easily buy an RV though and have some money saved up and would like to know the best place to find somewhere to live in an RV in California. Any helpful advice would be appreciated, thank you.

What part of CA?  
Do you have to stay in your current area for work?
How many people in the RV?
Water/Sewer/Electricity are concerns - boondocking full time would get old IMO.
It's CA - I'm guessing you would run into permitting issues trying to live in an RV full time on land w/o any utilities.

I'll make you a deal on a '00 Kit Mfg 351FP - it's a 36ft 5th wheel that has a ~10ft separate garage  I lived it in 75% of the time in a mobile home park for 4 years.
