I'm trying to order some small parts for a Steyr AUG, specifically the barrel quick-detach button and the pin, spring, and grub screw which go along with it. This is what they look like, and this. They're not a controlled part in the U.K as that's generally limited to pressure bearing components such as barrels and receivers.

It was very difficult to find them and when I finally did, the German parts supplier said they were only available to EU zone countries, U.K not included. As the language barrier was significant, I'm not sure if that was a personal rule or an actual regulation?

If anyone knows of somewhere these parts would be available from, or could forward them to the U.K (if that's legally permitted), it would be very useful. I've imported a variety of non-regulated AUG parts from DE and Austria in the past and never had any issues.

Thanks very much.

Afaik they should be fine to buy/ship.
I’m wondering if it has something to do with the Brexit..

Check zibmitaria or waffen-teile both usually have good supply of parts and good customer service
