The Democrats in the county legislature are pushing bill requiring mandatory locking up of all firearms in the county under penalty of 15 days jail and $250 dollar fine. And mandatory theft/loss notification to NCPD (which, surprise, supports this bill). Gee, I stupidly thought SAFE solved all of New York State's "gun problems"  Silly me...
