Great but it will cause him to be searched unreasonably. Well now that he announced it he will be and it will be deemed not unreasonable.

If he had kept it quiet and carried like a few other reps that I emailed he would probably not be harassed as he enters now. Which is what I suspect will happen.

By violating the rule he will be asked and then forced to leave and they have now made consequences for people breaking the rule, which will keep him from voting.

I like the fact he's standing up. I'm just afraid it will backfire and make it so he cannot "represent" his people.

PA is under attack, I was gonna ask how the climate is over there in case I gotta move. Not bending over to Tom Wolf. How’s the state constitution? You guys fighting yearly? I mean is the threat real or what’s the scoop? I’m curious about Maine too.

Would you be willing to update the date on this thread for when important notices come out and maybe we can get the HTF mod to tack it at the top?

If not someone who keeps track of the political BS that's coming our way on a daily basis and update the membership here. It would be good to have 1 thread dedicated to it and to see when something important is going on.

Last week I sent an update about some of the anti-gun, anti-freedom bills that we are watching.
Today I want to tell you about HB 109 and HB 514 which will both be heard by the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee on February 13 at 1PM and 2:30 PM respectively.
HB 109 is the “sell a gun to a friend go to jail” bill that will outlaw private sales of firearms between friends and family members and subject violators to imprisonment. HB 109, if enacted into law, will require all gun transfers – including even handing a gun to a friend to shoot – to be registered via the computerized National Instant Background Check System (NICS). And make no mistake, registration is what they are after. Why? Because they can’t ban what they can’t find.
