Cousin thought he bought a new glock from a local store that claimed to have "several" in stock. It's been almost 2 weeks now and the shop won't respond to calls or emails... I think they scammed him and sold guns they don't have in stock. What are his options? Credit card was billed right away.

Contest credit card charge. Problem solved.

They can't nick the credit card number until the product is actually sold in person, or in online and interstate sales, when the item can be verified as shipped.

Call your credit card company and get the charges reversed.

Can't hurt to file a consumer fraud complaint with the IL Atty General's office.  They may not be amenable to people who buy guns, but it can't hurt.
