Welcome back. The Navy got me out of Yuma in 1967, spent a lot of time in California. Ten years in Texas, great place but the humidity was horrible. I finally made it back last year, I've been having a great time since I got back rediscovering the beauty of the Sonoran desert.

Daughter and I were just out in Snowflake in October as she had never been to our properties overlooking Silver Creek, she loved the properties and their views and I was surprised how much the town had grown since the last time I was out there. I miss AZ but not the crowded cities and the traffic.

Thank you for the welcomes, it's good to be back. The wife and I fell ill with the Batflu a week after we got here. She is still in ICU in Showlow and is on an intubator as of yesterday. I am somewhat cured, but I am worried about her. Life can kick you in the teeth at times.

Welcome to AZ! Don't beat yourself up too bad - around half of the people I know who are fully vaccinated have still gotten COVID anyway, quite a few getting pretty sick too. I have a family member works in a major hospital, many of the severe cases being admitted are fully vaccinated and even boosted too. Of course, the media won't tell you about that.
