Edit: trip canceled

We're staying in Conway for a few nights in July. The only thing we planned is a trip up Mt. Washington one of those days.

Any other suggestions? How about some suggestions on restaurants?

(FYI it's me, the wife, and a 2 year old)

We've had a couple threads in the past year in here with some pretty good suggestions for folks visiting the NoCo area --

You do have to go to the Spaghetti Shed and report back though

-Don’t be a Masshole! That’s our job and we’re really good at it.
-Park between the lines, only MA drivers are allowed to take up multiple spots.
-Make sure to tell all the locals how much they need more oversight and control of their freedoms.
-Make fun of all the local hipster beer.

On a serious note, the threads posted above have some good info. I’ve been up there several times and it’s always fun. In July you are just another tourist.

I've never had a bad meal or beer at MOAT MTN BREWERY in Conway.

Open carry. It makes the vacationing Massholes cringe and cry.

I'm gonna hot up the Spagetti Shed tomorrow night.

Moat Brewery is great.
Wildcat Tavern in Jackson is also great.
The smoked prime rib at Stonehurst Manor is very unique.  You either love it or hate it.  I love it.
Breakfast or lunch at the Sunrise Shack

Take the gondola up Wildcat & hike up some of the trails up there.

The Cog up Mt. Washington is always cool.

Bretton Woods might have the restaurant at the top of the mountain completed by July.  They have an 8 person gondola that takes you up there.

Mt Washington Hotel for food & golf is an experience.

Drive the Kankamangus from Conway to Lincoln.   Come back via the Bear Notch Pass into Bartlett & then back down to NoCo.

Conway Scenic Railroad.
Drive the Notches.

I could go on & on.

Have fun.

Tell you what most NH people think

Cross the border drop your money turn around and go home....

j/k

come up and leave the liberal weeny crap behind at the mass border.  Do visit the liquor stores right on the highways.  July will be hot n muggy but way up north there should be some what ok depends on the day who knows going thru the notch you may find it snowing

Play golf? Go do the golf course at the Mt. Washington Hotel (Bretton Woods). The scenery will take your mind off of how bad your game is. Then by all means, go have a gin and tonic on the deck at the hotel.

Not sure but hoping the store will be open by then. I'm only in the plant a day or two a week these days but hit me up with a PM and we'll see if a plant tour can be arranged, if you'd like.
