FYI we just visited the Monterey bay aquarium and they have some fancy hi tech metal detectors.  It doesn’t just sense metal objects, it actually shows a location on your body where it senses something.  It ignored my flashlight, SAK , spiderco knife and spare mag and identified the LCP on my belt.  I showed them my out of state LEO creds and they were “Thank you, have a nice day”.   I did not see a no gun sign by the main entrance but after we left I walked past a side door that said “No weapons allowed”

It was nice but little pricey at $50 a head and $20 to park.  I did see some of @aimless’s family there.

Thanks.  It was nice.  We saw my son who moved to the East Bay area then went to a wedding that a lot of family came in for.  Our first family event since before the pandemic.  The weather there is great and its a beautiful state.  Its a shame that the dems are destroying it just like NY.
