After posting blue generic "No Gun" signs on their doors, and their Corporate office telling people that concealed carry was not allowed, new "Open Carry Prohibited" signs appear to have replaced them. Here's a photo someone else posted elsewhere.

Meijer corporate management has been out of touch with reality for decades. It happens when you get to a certain net worth. And as a family owned and operated business, guess who ultimately calls all the shots.

I think what they are really saying is that they want your business. They also want the soccer mom’s and Karen’s business as well. And open carry scares those types and causes lots of (unprofitable) commotion.
So the sign really means is “please don’t scare the sheep”. |

My guess is that Peter Meijer had a say in this. Kind of tough to run on a pro 2nd GOP platform when your family's own grocery stores won't let you carry. That is my guess.

Meijer and Upton both vote to impeach Trump Both are RINO POS. I'm in Upton's district
Upton is out. He's not running again. Of course he has a strong 2A member running to take his place. Meijer's no friend of the 2A Look at his voting record. |

As those employees would be fired on the spot for admitting to violating a pretty common business employee's weapons policy. |
