The wife and I have been to a couple of concerts in recent weeks, one at the Venetian and the other at the Westgate. About half the people strolling through the casinos weren't wearing masks. And inside the concert halls they acted a bit like mask nazis until the music started then all bets (and masks) were off. |

Just walk around with a drink in your hand. If anyone says anything to you tell them you’re drinking. A better bet is just don’t go. The strip and really all of downtown Vegas is a cesspool.

Fukkin Sissocock reinstated the mask mandate everywhere so all places must comply or face wrath from the county health nazis. Fines are pretty steep too so businesses have no choice but comply.

Even though Clark and Washoe Counties have hit the 70% vaccinated threshold that the idiot governor said would result in reduced restrictions, they have now walked back that policy (no surprise).

Washoe County – 70.12% 2. Carson City – 70.01% 3. Clark County – 65.65% 4. Douglas County – 59.99% 5. Lyon County – 56.79% 6. Mineral County – 54.53% 7. Churchill County – 49.97% 8. White Pine County – 47.95% 9. Humboldt County – 46.61% 10. Nye County – 45.79% 11. Esmeralda County – 39.92% 12. Lander County – 39.22% 13. Elko County – 38.30% 14. Pershing County – 37.77% 15. Lincoln County – 37.01% 16. Eureka County – 30.72% 17. Storey County – 20.50% • This data can be found on the dashboard. • Importantly, the 70% initial vaccine coverage goal was first identified based on what was understood and experienced in past influenza pandemics related to protective levels of herd immunity. • Clinical and epidemiologic data on COVID-19 is not yet available to tell the State what percentage of the population needs to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to reach a protective herd immunity level. Not sure about the strip but we went to a few places on Fremont over the weekend. Many were asking you to mask up to enter but they didnt mess with us once we were inside walking around with drinks.

They are not. Wynn, Cosmo this weekend no masks needed until I got to the door of the restaurant. Only needed it to walk to the table. Did not put it on to go to the bathroom. Did not put it on when I left. Sitting at slots nit needed. Security at the Wynn didn't look twice at me without a mask. If they ask you they ask nicely and give you a mask. You can take it off as soon as you walk away. I go everywhere in Vegas without a mask. Gym, grocery store, coffee shop, Lowes, Walmart etc... This second mask mandate has been a joke. Nobody except the rare individual is enforcing it.

At the Tyson Fury fight there was very little if any mask usage. At the Korn concert this weekend zero mask usage.
