I hope the people that voted for him, because he voted for Kavanaugh, will realize that they were taken. I still can’t understand for the life of me why he was voted into office at all. I really can’t. |

He’s re-elected because he wins the bulk of the population centers. Morgantown, Fairmont, and Clarksburg/Bridgeport.
He’s a hometown boy there. The southern part of the state is blue dog democrat still and fill in the gaps. |

More voters now registered Repub than Demonrats for the first time in history. |

Agreed, glad to read that.... He still is anti 2a but he's far from completely off the rocker type liberal that he's surrounded with......he still won't be getting my vote but this will help him get reelected no doubt.

It’s all in the name. His Uncle, AJ Manchin, used to bully the State Road into telling him what side streets and back roads were slated for Paving. He would then go door to door in that area and tell them he was passing through and seen the road needed paved and that they had his word he would make it happen in a few weeks. Low and behold a few weeks later and I’ll be damned, the road is being paved. The older folks ate that stuff up. Enough so that they overlooked his other issues.
