Not a California resident. Flying to California for the Holidays.

What are the current restrictions regarding standard capacity magazines? Are standard capacity magazines okay in California now?

If you actually had to use it, I think the risk of having an issue over it is a bit higher as a non-resident.

Yes but not for you.

As a Californian, I can have a hi-cap mag because I have had them in my possession before all this crap started. I can also have them because of Magageddon week.

You cannot bring a hi-cap mag into CA because the law says that you cannot bring, import blah blah blah.... You can bring 10 round mags in with you and be perfectly safe.

At this moment we're waiting on a ruling from the 9th, once that happens we'll know more.

It's not like anyone is going to check but as a non Californian, you bring more attention. Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse when it comes to firearms here in CA. Be safe and don't draw any attention to yourself!
