The one in Perry is going to get you south of Macon, and it will be within sight of I-75.

If you stay in Macon, I recommend staying in North Macon, specifically no further south than Arkwright Road.
Also consider Warner Robins off of the 247 Connector. It's a few miles off of the interstate, but has plenty of restaurants. |

I live 5 minutes from downtown Macon. Its a shithole. Stay north or south, as suggested. Any specific questions, ask and I'd be glad to answer.

If you stayed in macon, I'd do the homewood suites on the north side, the hampton in perry is right by the interstate and would allow you to bypass macon all together.

Hilton Garden inn on I75 at Mercer University/Hwy 74.....basically on Campus.....pretty well secured.....cose to stadium and lots of stuff to eat close
