MN CLONE SHOOT
When : July 16 2022 12:00 central Where : West branch gun club Princeton, MN We will meet prior to the range in town as the range owner will not allow any 'stranglers' and wants to give his brief one time. I suggest meeting at the BP gas station in Princeton around 1100. There will be a $15 charge per person attending Clone shoot. Please bring any folding tables, chairs and tents/canopies and snacks and water. If anyone wants to bring a small grill we can buy some stuff to throw on that also. Ill provide MREs to anyone interested. Also bring any steel plates or target stands if you have them, I have one steel plate with a stand. We will be in a machine gun pit, however if anyone wants to walk over to 100y range that should be fine, I'm sure the range owner will address that. If you have any questions or need any special requirements met PLEASE bring that up here or IM me ASAP. Thank you for everyone interested in coming. also - if possible after the clone shoot we may be able to go to another location for night shooting only if you run 100% suppressed or borrow a suppressed rifle while out there. |

Depending on how much interest there is and if we plan do to shoot at dusk, I have a couple spots in mind roughly 45 minutes north of the cities. I'm up in the Northern suburbs and would be interested with a couple of my clone builds.
I even have tracer ammo to shoot if it's a night shoot and it's permitted. Thanks. |

Depending on the head count and also VERY dependent on how far people care to shoot will determine venue and also of night shooting will even be possible.
Currently the only night spot I have is on private land and not long range at all. Which normally is fine for night time stuff but might be lacking for day time. |

I can bring some interesting clones and some legit military rifles. Just let me know what to bring.
Anyone want to put a few rounds through Major Dick Culver's M40?   Or shoot an SPR upper that was used by 5th Group in Afghanistan 1 month after the 9/11 terrorist attacks?   Does this revolver count as a clone if it's the same type that's used in an anime TV show about an anti-terrorism unit?   What about prototypes, are they allowed?   Are we shooting modern stuff or can we shoot rifles that are 100+ years old?   Any specific calibers? I need to pick up some .338 Lapua ammo   When in doubt, always whip out your KAC!  |

Of course I'm game. Let's figure out a range and then work on a date. I think July or August at the earliest would be the best, IMO. Just getting the time off and family trips out of the way. I'd prefer if we could lock down a range with some distance though as I'm seeing quite a few others with some 308's and what not. Also would be good if we could shoot NV.

I'm still looking into a 300y range, not sure on price per person yet. The other range as either a 100m rifle range or a machine pit basically and they're 15 bucks a person. |

I'd go but I don't have any clone anymore. I have socom upper I chopped the fsp and put on a mcmr
Philsbury in Brainerd is free public designated shooting area gravel pit could shoot up 100 yards. Or delton luth in st cloud. |

If we can shoot for the 16th of July that would be great. The range will be north of Princeton, MN and I need to double check but I believe the range is 100m.
Expect a range fee of 15 bucks. Ill post more details asap. If anyone interested or able to attend could let me know that would be helpful. |
