Great idea, and will try over the weekend. And I think this would be a very worthwhile endeavour, especially for all the people here who train with there defensive weapons.

ETA: just did the drill, 1.14, 1.27, 0.60, 0.70 and a 0.69. W/ a 20" A2 iron sights. Good drill with not alot of ammo waste.

Here is what I just got with a dept issue 20" A2 on my lunch break.
1st 5 tries- 1.09, 1.04, 1.13, 1.07, & 1.05
avg. about 0.95 after that.
Using a B-27 target, all hits are 9's or better. Using iron sights. Doing pretty well with the irons. Might have to think about going to irons all the time. Tried the prior drill with personal rifle that has a aimpoint and times were slightly higher. Have to get my personnel AR out more.

Thanks, I think they are really good drills. And want to thank you for taking the time to post them here.
A couple things to take into consideration w/ my times. I have been fortunate enough to be on the range for the last 2.5 months. So I have been shooting 5 days a week. And have had our dept AR in my hand everyday. So I have become comfertable with it. Also probaly why my times are better with the irons and not my personnal AR w/ a red dot.

Looking foward to the next drill. Come on people, get out and shoot and post those times. Anybody want to try the drills in orange co. Send me a IM. Have a range, targets, and a timer. Bring your rifle and ammo.

So I finally got a chance to do the first 2 drills tonight.  Both drills were shot with my FS2000 (tactical tuna lol) with an EOtech 553 RDS.  I did 5 tries for each.  The best time is in bold.  I was not cheating Chris haha

For the "first shot" drill:

1- 0.56, 2- 0.51, 3- 0.48, 4 - 0.61, 5- 0.51

For the "double up" drill:

1- 0.76 (0.53 1st, 0.76 second), 2- 0.81 (0.65, 0.81), 3- 0.73 (0.59, 0.73) 4- 0.58 (0.43, 0.58), 5- 0.68 (0.53, 0.68)

There were no misses in any of those :).  My SIRT training is paying off, along with all my training with you haha.  See you next month.

-Rob

Nice drills! I really want to make it to one of your classes this year, I'm trying to get a few things in order to make that happen. What drills do you recommend for people who only have access to 50 yd ranges? Same things just done slower?

Hi Chris,
I was speaking with someone tonight about South Narc's ECQC course, I know that you hosted them in the past and was wondering if you could get them to come out to NY again this year ? I would be interested for sure.
Regards, Chris

Hey Chris,

Where is the price list for your courses on your website? I'm trying to plan to make the Pistol level 1 course at Calverton in September, then hopefully the level 2 course in November, I just need to know cost so I can save it aside.
