Thanks for posting all of this. I’m going to be doing this myself for a 6.5 Grendel pistol.

Using LWRC UCIW stock kit and using a brace, instead of the stock included in the kit....
Can I get a 12.5 inch barrel and still come in under 26 inches OAL?

Love to see the success from everyone.

Work got in the way for me and I didn't get to get out but no regrets b/c this is my primary home defense weapon now as well.

Blessing in the new year to you all!

I hunted several times, but no deer.  They have been really hitting my turnip patches, but must be pretty nocturnal.  I did see a bobcat though, so that was pretty cool.

I didn't see any deer, during any of the seasons.

Only got a button buck opening day of rifle season.

Hunted a few days of Alternative Methods and gave up.

So here's AR pistol pic.

The full moon at nights really killed the "its cold so they should be up moving" hopes.  The few times we saw them during the week were mostly right at 4:45.  One group ran in and stood behind a car sized section of brush for 45mins until dark.

What's funny is dad and I had the same scenario for our deer on separate days.   The deer came across an open corn field into standing corn so quickly that we couldn't get a shot.  Then a coyote scared them out and they stopped at the edge of the timber.

I enjoyed being out so much that after I'd filled my tags, I went and got another tag just to get out and call coyotes.  No coyotes but hunting in the snow was fun.
