Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lower receivers still a NICS check in WA?

I’ve lost track of the current workflow for purchasing just a lower receiver, is it still a NICS check and you’re good to go?

If I recall, at some point they will be part of the 1639 infringing and subject to the 10 day waiting local LE check, correct?

Yes still a NICS check for now.

It was postponed to some time in 2023. Just NICS at least until then. Rumor has it it’ll be shelved then.

Letter from the DOL says its suppose to be in service January 2024.  Hopefully it will be shelved.
