Any ideas on where to go and just cabin camp for a few days before it gets too hot, by a river would be great. I don’t even want to get close to Gatlinburg again. Thank y’all for any ideas

Smith Lake near Cullman, AL

Tims Ford Lake near Lynchburg (hint, hint) and Tullahoma TN

TN River near Florence and Rogersville in NW AL.

Also check for cabins on the Elk River, TN/AL (Elk river is the outfall of Tims Ford)

Smith Lake has hundreds of miles or shoreline and beautiful waters.

Guntersville is a good choice too.
