Hello alls,

I'm going to get a relatively small gun safe at Murdoch's and need it moved to the rear of my house and up 6 then down 12 stairs and around a corner.

External dimensions: 55.0" x 29.0" x 20.0"
Weight 310 lb

Any recommendations?

Yeah, but my back and joints don't quite agree with me moving heavy items anymore.

Call sunbelt rentals off Sante Fe and ask them about a stair climber dolly.  Tell them what you are moving.

I had Hamblen put a safe in my basement for me.  They were super quick and didn't hit any walls, doorways, railings, etc. while moving it.  Their site says they service Denver, so they may make the trip to Littleton as well.  A little pricey (over $300 iirc), but totally trouble free.

I emailed them Tuesday and they still haven't replied. I might have to actually CALL them.

Try the person below, user name on Colorado AR15 site is Opie011.  Great guy and knows what he is doing.  He is busy though so it might take a while.

They moved mine for $375 I think. We did buy it from them though.

I've seen Wrangler move safes before. they rock the safe and put a 6x6 under it so they can put the safe on a pallet jack. Then they roll it onto an open trailer. Definitely way overpriced for a safe mover. I'm considering renting an appliance dolly and solid wall trailer from HD to move my small 650 lb safe.

I've used Hamblen's in the past.  They did an excellent job with a 900lb monster going into my safe.
