There are no commercial bases for the new Holosun SCS MOS green dot sight if you want to use it on anything other than a Glock. I want to use it on my 10/22, using a modified base for another MRDS.
I have a base for a Trijicon RMR sight I want to modify to fit the Holosun. The work is to drill and tap two holes in the correct location. I can bring the sight to insure that we get the holes in the correct location, as well as providing samples of the factory mounting screws to insure we get the right pitch/size.
It requires the skills of a machinist, not necessarily a gunsmith.
Anybody willing to do the work for me?

Edited: removed task of grinding down/machining the posts at the front of the RMR donor base. They are press fitted and I removed them easily myself.

The base is the aircraft grade aluminum used for shooting accessories. The only job is to drill and tap for correct screws in correct location. Technically simple with the right tools and skills. Happy to pay, barter for ammo, reloading stuff, or...?

Hafer's Gunsmithing in Hagerstown was willing to take in the job.
