So I am from PA and looking to do some hunting in other states. I was on your state's game commission website and see the state is broken into zones similar to our wildlife management units. I would like to visit the state this fall for deer and pigs at a minimum. Saw there were elk zones in the northern area. I was wondering what zones have public hunting land that would stand a good chance of having a decent buck and hogs present at a minimum. I don't currently know anyone in state to give advise on this and was hoping to get pointed in the right direction.  I appreciate and info.

Thanks
Josh

I've hunted Sylamore before and there are plenty of deer and you see hog sign. That said, it can get busy and there might be better options in other parts of the state.

And forget about elk hunting here. Tags are impossible to get. But we do have nice bulls.

The Petit Jean WildLife Management area has pigs and, deer. .Gov land.

I have a buddy w 800 acres South of Midland peak, noted for bear, pigs, rattlesnakes, and deer.
I will ask him how it is looking there.
