Hey Guys,
We've an ongoing project that requires some machined parts.

These aren't production runs, and often are one-offs.  Most parts are 316, 4140, or 7075.  The largest part we've had done so far was a simple slip cuff about 8" in diameter.  Some more complicated parts are also done from time to time, but usually nothing requiring oversized equipment.

We generally can provide a good print and step file.

Mega Machine has done some of this for us, but like many shops in the area, they've a full schedule.  Add in that we're not going to order $100K worth of stuff at a time, and we're probably low priority.  But, it's a very cool project.

Any recommendations for a shop in the Puget Sound area?

Maybe try:
Cobalt Enterprises
Toussint Machine and Manufacturing
Machinists Inc.

Where are you at?  Arcana Precision in Arlington can possibly help you out.  They're a good sized CAD/CAM operation.

We are down in the Oly area, but anywhere anything within an hour or two would be fine.

What about a place to get a WWII Jeep engine checked for "rebuildability?" Thanks!
