I shoot on private land so I don't have much experience with public ranges. I do shoot matches at AGC though in Marriotsville and they seem to have a solid setup.

Hap Baker public range is located in Carroll County behind the landfill. Rifle shooting out to 200 yards. $15 for the day for out of county residents, $10 for the day for veterans.

I shoot there when I can and have always had good experiences.
