I normally buy the blm maps.
They list Blm, State, forest service, private and tribal lands separate. They seem to be surprisingly accurate |

You can pick them up at a blm office or Sportsmans Warehouse

Pocket Ranger is an App from Fish and Game that helps too. There are others like it but Pocket Ranger is free.

Go to Holman's on Jefferson. They have all sorts of maps (and surveying equipment). That's where I get all my hunting maps. I even bought a huge map to put on the wall of NM with all the public and Indian lands laid out.
