So I have decided to use a Mossberg 500 pump shotgun as my home defense weapon. I have years of training and familiarity with rifles and carbines through the Marine Corps, but I have barely ever trained with a shotgun, however. Atleast this Mossberg.

I need a good class that covers the basics, loading, reloading, malfunctions, and all relevant techniques. Looking for a quality course with reputable instructors, not your "Uncle Bob's gun training" that noone has ever heard of.  

Class should be between Richmond and Northern Virginia.

Any recommendations on organizations or facilities?

I trained with Brett when he was with Green Ops.  He spent some time in the Marines if I remember correctly.   Solid dude & good training.

I also took his shotgun class when he was at Green Ops and it was excellent, highly recommend.

Truth.  I took a total of three classes with him, and he is one of the best.

Sounds perfect. I'm gonna email them to see if he is offering any classes right now.
