Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking an auto mechanic in Des Moines area.

Can anyone recommend a good and honest auto mechanic shop in the Des Moines area?

I am asking for my son who lives there and has a car that needs to be looked at. He has an older car with intermittent starting issues and we don't know if it is the starter, fuel pump, key interlock or security system that is keeping it from consistently starting. He is pretty handy with a wrench but works from sunup to sundown and doesn't have a garage to work in nor all his tools with him.
