I've been wanting to raise quail for years.  Wife and I bought a house this last year and I've finally decided it's time.  I have an incubator on the way, I have the supplies to build a cage, I just need some eggs.

The only local hatchery I can find is B&D Game Farm, but their website talks about retirement and consulting from January of last year.  Does anyone know of a source for quail eggs local?  Hatchery, random person you know who sells fertile eggs, etc.  I'm not 100% on any particular type, but leaning towards one of the jumbo coturnix varieties.

Man I don't know. I have not messed with hatching quail sense high school. You might check with your county agent.

Not a bad idea.  I've never farmed or raised anything other than your typical household pets so I didn't even think about that.

Now...what are the chances they are open?  I'll call/check on Tuesday.
