Also suggest that we note if they accept private transfers (individual to FFL), if there is an surcharge for items in stock. and if they are ok in dealing with large mail order houses. Sometimes price isn't the only issue if depending on what type of transfer.

Here are two smaller FFL's in NOVA that perform transfers:
TW Firearms in Leesburg is $25 per transfer Broad Run Arms in Sterling is $28.00 for the first firearm, plus the Virginia Firearms Transaction Program fee of $2.00 for Virginia residents or $5.00 for non-residents. Each additional firearm transferred from the same source, at the same time, and on the same Federal Form 4473 and Virginia Form SP-65A is an additional $10.00. I have personally transferred firearms through both of these FFL's, and in both cases everything was fast, straightforward and professional. |

FYI - P3Group is no longer in Virginia. The guy moved to West Virginia, so no more FFL transfers in VA.

Blackdog Sporting Goods near Lynchburg was doing transfers for $10. I'm not sure if it's still that way, but Jeff the owner is a good guy... he's definitely not trying to get rich off of his prices.

@CousinIT50
Quantico Tactical changed the name of their last retail store in Woodbridge to Proven Arms sometime ago, but it no longer matters. Sadly, they will be closing for good next week. The Gun Dude in Falls Church closed long ago. Nova Armament is now Herndon Arms and they have moved to the basement of that same building, having given up the street-level retail space. And while I don't think they're on your list, Virginia Arms in Manassas also closed. Sad times in Northern Virginia. |
