Well, this is a BAD year for law-abiding firearm advocates..
We will now have a magazine ban (SB 5078) and can't build untraceable firearms (HB 1705). Not to mention HB 1630 which limits our right to carry.

All of my representatives and senators voted against both bills. Not much consolation.

My elected folks did the right thing, sadly they are out numbered.

This list is for people who are in the district that can make a change and get the anti's 2A out.

This list is also for people who do have good representation.. and know to vote for them to stay in office.

A couple guys on WA guns pointed out:

Kirby voted nay on the final vote, but earlier he passed it out of committee. He could have killed it there if he wanted to

Harris-Talley sponsored the house companion bill then voted nay on the final vote

Both did so because they knew it would pass without their vote and were worried about losing the next election if they voted yea

I'm now going over old bills to see where these people stand.. As I look at who sponsored pass bills you really start seeing who is really anti 2A.

So far everyone who voted 2A, some had sponsored a similar bill in the previous year.. hence not a surprise they voted for the bans.

I'm knocking this out in a hurry and I hope to have some time this evening to formulate a better response.

First, I am assuming you are asking about current 38th District Senator June Robinson.  She was formally a member of the House of Representatives (position 1) prior to her winning a special election in 2020 to fill the vacant Senate seat in the 38th.

June Robinson Ballotpedia Biography  Ballotpedia has lots of information but it is a bit difficult to navigate.

My guess is that she may have been offered up as a sacrificial lamb thus she was told to vote against 5078.  This is based on rumor and my back channels are not as strong as they were pre-coof. Or, she may have felt that 5078 didn't go far enough?  

I wouldn't trust her.  Voting record is probably the most reliable way to gauge a politician's stance on firearms freedom.  If she sponsored bills in the past that are anti-2A, that tells me everything I need to know.  I doubt she had a sudden epiphany all on her own.

Looking at the 38th District's historical voting pattern, it seems to lean Dem.

I'm in the Mullet/Ramos/Callan shit-district.  I used to have solid (R) guys at least in the House.

I had to vote for Mullet in the last election because the opposition candidate was WORSE.  I had a choice of a shitty slightly left of center d-bag (Mullet) or a full on leftist commie (Ingrid Anderson).  He pulled it off by 58 votes.  So yes, he's a piece of shit, but he was almost replaced by a worse piece of shit...

Not sure that is much consolation though.  Both would have voted the same way on the gun bills, I'd have to look at the rest of his record to see if there were any saving graces....

No problem.. I'm pretty upset by this so I'm going to take some time to make a more easier, visible list on who are against my 2A beliefs. I want WA to be what it was a decade ago at the minimum.
I will continue to update this list as I get more info. I'll put little comments to help support why I put them on the bad list.
Definitely I heard a couple of libs were given passes on voting against the bills to keep them looking like they support 2A. They probably the ones voted last just to make sure their vote doesn't help the pro-2As. Screw them.




Extremely good point. I do plan to make a list for the candidate if they are known to be antigun. Previously I've looked at NRA or similar organization on their grading of the politicians.  Also with help from people like you posting in the thread as we get closer to elections would help too.  Thanks.
