So I'm in the People's Republik of Maryland, but I live in the DC area so I keep seeing this asshole's commercials? Seems like he's running on ONE platform...gun control. So does this clown actually have a chance, or is he a total kook? Or a total kook with a chance?

Yes. Any democrat will win the top 3 in Va.
Levine is the biggest anti gun asshole we have. He has bloombergs cock so far up his ass it pokes out his mouth. He is the one that introduced the Va Safe Act then pouted like a bitch when it got tabled. Unless another black Democrat runs, Levine would probably get it. Fast Terry 2.0 is 100x the politician as C**nman, so he will probably get the SAFE Act passed before Levine can run for Gov. |

Levine is getting primaried from the left by Elizabeth Bennett-Parker, but I don't think she has the backing to really make a dent. Bennett-Parker is currently the vice-mayor of Alexandria and the two were pretty cozy together at one point.
A bunch of established democrats from the house of delegates are getting challenged this cycle. Kaye Kory is my delegate (not by choice) and she's running against one of her former deputies. Rumor I heard is, Levine went absolutely ape-shit nuts that Bennett-Parker challenged him. Hopefully, he runs his mouth to the point that he gets a #metoo accusation or two. Also, if you want some visuals, pictures here of both Levine and Bennett-Parker. But consider yourself warned. |

It's a very crowded Dem LG primary with most candidates having zero name ID. Levine just dropped close to a million on TV in the closing, that could win it for him. He went from being a joke to a serious contender. Any candidate with a D next to their name has the advantage statewide in Va this Nov.

When I first saw his commercials, I wondered what the Lt Gov duties were and after investigating, not much! Of course, his commercial is dishonest and includes suicides with the homicides. And doesn't bother to note that the universal background checks and "severe" mental illness gungrabbing wouldn't hinder the gangbanger murders at all.
Since various lefty psychiatrists went against their code of ethics and declared Trump mentally ill, nobody should trust any mental illness gungrabbing laws, they will be inevitably turned against political enemies. |

I got mailers from him about once a week for the last month+. Some were 100% about gun control. Most other Dems aren't even mentioning it. He is obsessed with restricting gun rights. The funny thing is he says he has been committed to cause of preventing gun violence since he lost his sister. His sister was STABBED to death. If she had a gun, she could be alive today.
Bennett-Parker has a real chance to beat him in the Delegate primary. She has some serious Dem endorsements and got the most votes out any City Councilmember (that's how she became Vice Mayor). I am hoping against hope that he loses both elections. |

Bennett-Parker is certainly no friend of the 2nd Amendment but I doubt she will be as obsessed with destroying our rights as Levine. He usually introduced 5 gun control bills every year.
Unfortunately, Heretick from Portsmouth (a Dem who voted against the AWB) got primaried w/ his opponent mentioning that vote in their effort to beat him. Lee Carter also lost his seat. Not sad to see a self-proclaimed Socialist go but he was pro-gun. Republicans need a biblical level of turnout in November. |
