The initiatives would create preconditions to buying semiautomatic weapons, ban all sales of semiautomatic weapons to people under 21 and ban magazines that carry more than 10 rounds. Semiautomatic firearms fire a round with each pull of the trigger.

How do I submit comments? That site said you have to scan them, then e mail.

Yeah it’s a bit of a complicated process. Your comments have to have an actual signature so you can either mail them in, or sign then scan and email. We went through all this a couple years ago with the last round of stupid ballot measures. The effort last time was to get the ballot measures thrown out due to the wording of the titles and descriptions. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s gonna work this time but we’ll see.
