Its been over ten years since we met at whiskey bay to shoot as a group . I would like to try and get it going again. Location is public land and has a pistol, skeet and rifle range. Has bathrooms and a camp ground adjacent . They recently have been doing work on it but it should be open again in the mext few weeks . The ideal time is before rifle hunting season in October or after January . You only have to purchase a fishing, hunting or bird watching permit to use .

The baffles they put up a while back at the rifle range ruined it IMO.

Letting it build interest . Its starting to "warm up" so maybe april -may timeframe. Even if its 10 of us I dont mind .

I'd be down for a shoot before it gets too hot, but I'm not going to shoot anywhere near the amount of ammo that I used to shoot.

@lafmedic1 What’s the plan for the HTF get together shoot?
I don’t know who’s all planning to attend, I will highly suggest the Cut Off Range complex. We went this past weekend and it was legit. There’s a pistol side with a ton of plates and the rifle side stretches to 800 yards. Absolutely worth the drive from BR for us. |

That’s true. It’s hard to judge what a central location would be. Do you have a list of people who want to meet up and where their general location is?
