Whitehead and Norris are both new to the area <10yrs, worried about them trying to change our ways here.
Was thinking about Grimm but I think he quit the race, eta, Looks like John Grimm is still in. eta, again, Kim's a dem .. Oops I may be wrong here, March 2020 CDA press has her listed as Republican 
Dems are backing her at this time. |

We heard Whitehead speak and lead a town hall meeting in Athol a couple weeks ago. I liked what he said.
My only concern with him is he comes from Austin TX. He said he spent something like 30ish years there as LEO. Austin TX is like Berkeley in CA. You don’t get anymore liberal. Isn’t there some home grown Idaho candidate? I’m in Bonner but know that whatever happens in Kooteni will infect us. |

Whitehead was a dem until 4 years ago. Had to leave tx with forced retirement.
Go see Whoisnorris2020.com for strange info about Norris. like March 28, 2013 Purchased Idaho house. May, 2013 Ex-wife passes. March 27, 2014 Retires from LA Sheriff’s office. I'm supporting Whitehead. I think he checks all the boxes as far as what he's been saying with regard to constitution and being conservative.
As far as him being from Austin, I'd say in most cases, refugees from behind enemy lines tend to be some of the most conservative around here. |

I only ever saw signs for Edmondson and Norris. Norris had some sheriff's deputy association pulling for him. I never saw any adverts for Grimm other than the vinyl on your truck
 , and only one for Whitehead up in Hayden. Edmondson was running full page ads in the paper. I don't know much about Bauer, but at least Norris claims to be against the detention relocation BS  ETA - are you going to the range on Sunday? |

From Bauer's site, which is pretty convoluted: 'We live in the Mountain West, which has a territorial history of vigilantism as an expedient solution to crime and undesirable persons. Unfortunately that form of "public justice" is wholly unconstitutional and morally repugnant. We strive for a "rule of law".'
and "I will not however permit the enforcement of laws I find unconstitutional such as Second Amendment encroachment without underlying Idaho State law in concurrence." The underlined is especially unsettling to me. It reads to me that he would be okay trampling my rights as long as the state says it's okay. |

Both of them bother me
Corruption issues with Norris and his lot, a lot CYA statement wise with Bauer. Bauer's age, 70 could be a issue too. Saw him speak last week and he is no showman that's for sure I don't think either are best for Kootenai County.
