Hello neighbors, I’m taking a trip soon to Vancouver and wondered if someone can direct me to the best source for knife laws in Canada. I’m going to be doing some hiking and would like to, at the very least, have a knife for protection from animals and bad people. Thanks in advance!

Fixed blade good to go. You might have some trouble bringing some folding blades over the border.

No auto blades, push daggers, butterfly knives.

Also, if you carry a knife it's for utility, not self defence.

Speaking of Canadian Tire, you have to stop into one.  They're awesome!

True. I have been into some small ones that weren't all that great, but overall a great store.

Can't beat CTM.

I have around $50 on mine right now. It's great for those days you find something you don't need and don't have the money on you to buy it.

Huh... I wonder if that debit system will work with a US address
