I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of constructive advice here, but I do have a friendly warning. I went with Lowes on a kitchen remodel (cabinet install only, I'm doing the rest). It has been 18 months and they still don't have it right. I can at least cook in the kitchen again, but KraftMaid just can't get the quality control part down, and there are at least 20 doors and drawer fronts that have to be replaced. Again. Also one cabinet, which they have shipped THREE TIMES. To say I'm upset would be a gross understatement.
