Talked to Mitch a few weeks ago (pretty sure I got recruited into a cult), and he mentioned a division for kids.  Thinking about coming out for West this year, and my 11 year old is super interested, just curious what the kids division involves (he hates carbonated drinks, so a soda chug should be entertaining )

The kids course at west has been basically a mini version of the adult course (I've only gone to 6, 7 & 8 tho). Iirc the kids chug is as many as their parents approve of.

What kind of course of fire?  Standing, prone, both?  Rifle and pistol?

One of my kids ran last year at heartland. He did poorly
Actually he did okay running the adult course and earned a nifty scuba patch. He will be running again this year.
