It's supposed to eventually go to Edmond I believe. I don't like turnpikes but that could possibly help you miss a lot of congestion between Shawnee and Edmond.

It's 45mph right now between I-40 and 23rd street...which kind of sucks.
I'm surprised they used asphalt. The big trucks will tear the shit out of that in no time. |

Other than going from 4 lane @80 to 2 lane @45 it was a good drive,all though the wife was driving and
doing 55.  Once it's finished it will be nice.

I know a lot of people weren't happy about it being built, but it terminates 4 miles from my house and I commute back and forth to Tulsa for work a lot.
It's so much better than using HWY 177. |
