I did a couple hikes with the southern IN/northern KY guys earlier this year. If you guys put together any hikes in the northwesterly part of the state this fall/winter I’ll do my best to make it down there.

I didn't even know this forum existed until today. Messages used to be posted in the state forum and I just assumed people had lost interest or covid lockdowns was making it difficult to actually get out.

My connection with BGSL that allowed us to hike with rifles dried up and I haven't really been able to look into any other options. We could still hike without rifles but that seems kind of lame, although I know most other groups are doing that. I'm subscribed to this thread but I doubt I will remember to visit it more than once in a blue moon, so definitely any events should still be crosslinked to hometown. |

Hiking without rifles is lame. We’re pretty much stuck with that in Illinois. But it’s less lame than not hiking.
That’s not a shot at anyone. Just encouragement to get out there and do some hikes. |
