The public needs to trust law enforcement and these guys are giving everyone reasons not to.  Not only is their job difficult enough when fully funded and things are going well but all the "defund the police" stuff makes it extremely difficult.  In the end that leaves us all less safe and their lives more at risk.  Yet these guys apparently like using excessive force for no reason, have no problem lying about it, and threatening people to cover it up.

This came from a post from attorney Chris Wiest.  If that name sounds slightly familiar it should be, he is the guy who has sued the Governor over and over for stomping on our rights.

Read his post and disposition first and then watch the video.

I am in the middle of a KSP cover-up case (and excessive force, and other claims); its three troopers from the E-town post.  Here is a snippet of one of the trooper's deposition transcripts (the Gentlemen who is in the video linked below with the flashlight beating one of my clients -- we took the deposition by video, because I expect to try the case and juries like videos):19 Q. When he was taken to the ground, did you
20 use any force on him?
21 A. No.
22 Q. Did you ever strike him with any object?
23 A. No.
24 Q. As you sit here today, you have no
25 recollection that you can recall or reason why you
1 would have to use force on him, right?
2 A. No.
3 Q. There is no reason, as you sit here today,
4 that there would be cause to use additional force on
5 him, correct?
6 A. No.
7 Q. Is that correct?
8 A. Correct.
...
1 Q. So you did use force on him? All right.
2 Let me do this. True or false, at no time did you
3 use force on him?
4 A. I did not use force on him.
...
4 Q. Okay. I do want to look just briefly at
5 your interrogatories. We're going to be wrapping up
6 here pretty quickly. I want to start with the
7 signature page. Is that up here on the screen?
8 A. Yes.
9 Q. Okay. And you understood that this is
10 sworn testimony just like in court, correct?
11 A. Yes.
12 Q. Okay. And that above interrogatories are
13 true based on your personal knowledge, correct?
14 A. Yes.
15 Q. Okay. And I just want to go -- No. 9; you
16 did not observe any beating of [redacted],
17 correct?
18 A. Correct.
What else did he tell us?
10 Q. It is critically important that when police
11 officers come in and they testify, that they are
12 absolutely honest, correct?
13 A. Yes.
14 Q. Just like you are here today, correct?
15 A. Yes.
16 Q. And the reason that that's important is if
17 the public cannot trust police officers, the entire
18 system breaks down, right?
19 A. Yes.
20 Q. And it puts officers' lives at risk if
21 police officers are not honest when they come into
22 court and testify, right?
23 A. Yes.
You will see his father recording part of it with his cell phone.  They threatened the dad with arrest for recording and took his camera and deleted the video off dad's phone, thinking they erased all the evidence of what they did.
They were wrong.

Ky State police are mostly a bunch of power trip douchebags.
I do know a few that are great at their jobs but most I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.

Think a trooper here in Georgetown, along with the coroner is going to jail too.
