I went out to Knob Creek this morning to get some pics of our fellow ARFCOMers enjoying our Second Amendment Freedom for the benefit of those who were unable to make it. I left about 10:30 and already there were about 20-25 ARFCOMers present. I helped Stump mix a little bit of tannerite but I left before any of it was placed downrange. I'm sure those pics will be up later!

A FEW PICS:

PICS TO FOLLOW>>> pics added, they are done so chronologically, if anyone has a problem with any of them send me a message and it'll be taken down.

Finished this build at the shoot!

great pics Stump, I have that video too i think its a low zoom though we got the CPU flying away, i'm going to try and edit all of our short clips into one video, and cut out the dead space.
(we left the camera running for like 20 minutes on the grand fanale)

After that it's going on youtube i hope i can get it done soon.

Like everyone else, I had a great time! Thanks Stump for setting it up and everyone else for help making it a great time.

Special thanks to Lee from Buds Guns in Paris Kentucky for the drawing of door prizes. They gave away a Simmons 2.5x10 50 mm scope and a handgun safe.

I am looking forward to the next one already.

Thanks to all who organized the get together. It was cool to meet some of the people in person.

It would figure that of all the times for my weapon to get indigestion, it would have to be at the shoot. I took 20 or so new  D & H mags and  all 62 gr Wolf hp with me. Like a dumbass I never shot the ammo before I left. Well, as soon as I started the the rifle was failing to feed the damned hollow points. I'd never used them before but this rifle has always eaten ANYTHING I fed it so I figured it would be fine. NOT

After getting tired of fooling with it I brought it home and threw some of my old 55 gr Wolf in it to see what was up. It ran like a Swiss watch. Murphy sure is a bitch.

So I now have about a case and a half of Wolf 62 gr. HP I'd trade for some FMJ.

Oh well, it was cool to see everybody anyway and thanks again.

You'll thank me for that! Believe me, the damage on my wallet from .22 is a heck of a lot less than .223

Glad to meet some new friends and share a campfire with my Kentucky buddies again!!

When any of you Kentucky folks feel like invading the buckeye state, feel free to come to my place!

videos up, mostly just short clips of me and my friend, sorry i couldn't get everyone in together, the main point of this trip for me was to hear the supressors. i was very pleased.

the videos were better on my comp youtube seems to have degraded them even more

in video 1 around 1:45 you can see stump chaseing the car with a box of tannerite, and in video 2 around 2:15 the can flies to it's watery doom.

Come to think of it i have seen a pop bottle fly off... not a silencer just a poor attempt at waterproofing.... yet it was pretty interesting to see.

I am looking into getting it together this week. Unfortunately it looks like February is out for me, so the first weekend in March is likely the date. I'll start an official thread tomorrow.
